Great locks that are more sturdy than I expected! I bought these because my 18-month old is becoming a real explorer and I didn’t need him exploring what was in the oven. The straps were thicker and longer than I expected, which really impressed me with how strong the straps were. I pulled on the oven door handle rather strongly after I installed it, and the door wouldn’t open. Perfect to keep 18 month old out, but let 6 year old in As the title says these are great to keep my 18th month old out of my fridge, yes my 18th month year old can open the fridge. However my 6 year old was able to figure out the lock in 30 seconds so she can still access her snacks in the fridge.I also have a 4 year old who was not able to open the lock. She understood how but was not quite strong enough.
