I have read the reviews in consumer report … I reviewed it before I purchased car seat base for their babies, since my girls have THE CHICO KEYFIT carseats for their babies, I needed the base for my car and its perfect. I have read the reviews in consumer report about these carseats and base ands they are rated extremely safe and top of line. when they come to visit. I know my grandchildren will be safe in my car
Chicco KeyFit System Base This carseat base is the easiest I’ve encountered in a long time. It made having it in the car a no brainer. If it was clicked in but the carseat not in the car, you could keep it there and not worry about having to take the whole thing out when not in use. If you want to use the seat you could easily remove it and store it somewhere else in the car because of how slim it is. Works as designed, easy to use, easy to install, and narrow (3across in honda civic) Works as designed, we have one installed in a 2002 Ford Explorer, and one installed in a 2012 Honda civic. This with a booster seat and a convertible seat, fit 3 across in my Honda Civic. Given this is narrow, it works great for my purposes.
