The car seat carrier includes removable head and body support to accommodate newborns as small as 4 pounds. As a former car seat installer I really likes this model. I used to install car seats. I had a Graco SnugRide when I had my child many years ago. This particular model blew me away with different features.1. The base is much easier to tighten than the Graco as there is a strap on top of the base to cinch it tight when using the LATCH system.2. The hooks to attach to the vehicle when using the LATCH system is easy to attach to the vehicle and release once attached using a seatbelt button type release.3. I called the company and YES…

Quality has gone down I had a Chicco Keyfit 30 when my son was born in 2011. I LOVED it, but it expired before my daughter was born in 2017, so I had to purchase a new car seat. I bought another Keyfit, but have been really disappointed with it. The quality has definitely gone down since 2011! The top won’t stay up and constantly falls back when we go on walks, which is really annoying, and they did away with the flip out shade extender (why?? That thing was wonderful!!). Wonderful seat! Best infant car seat we’ve ever owned. We have 3 children now and had a britax and our baby would just scream and cry. We got this seat and she is so content and happy! We made a 12 hr road trip when she was just 3 weeks old and she was amazing! Slept so good and fit so snug in the seat without being quished like the britax. I highly recommend this seat!
