Alex Omid says:

I would recommend this crib. I was very impressed with how easy this crib was to put together, the directions were great and well written and the parts seemed to be of premium quality. The wood is solid, not that cheap particle board stuff that breaks easy. Shipping was great too. I was worried about buying this product because I read a bunch of reviews from other DaVinci products (their dressers and nightstands, I still want the matching set) that had people complaining about damage upon arrival. Ours was in perfect…

No toxic smell – and a great crib to boot. Background: I had a horrible experience with a crib made by a company called Delta (I bought it at the Navy Exchange). It was a beautiful crib, but it had a powerful varnish smell (VOCs) when I took it out of the box and assembled it. I thought the smell would go away with time and as a grandparent (grandfather) we were not expecting to need the crib for a couple of months – we were just getting ready for when the kids visited or needed a babysitter for a night or two. A Great Crib Great value for the price. My crib arrived in PERFECT condition and came on time. The assembly was quick and simple, though it takes some close concentration as the instructions are mostly by pictures. It went together perfectly, however, and seems very sturdy. Though it says assembly requires 2 people, I was able to do it by myself with a bit of creative improvising to balance the spring unit on a box while I secured the screws. I would definitely recommend this crib!
