For Petites Only This is a high quality cane as usual for Carex canes. Very light. However, it is definitely more suited to people of more petite stature (probably 5â 8â or less) or at least those with smaller hands. Because of its overall reduced size compared to the other style canes they offer it is somewhat painful on my palm and wrist. Also because of the reduced diameter shaft size compared to their other canes (shaft size not listed in the description) it will be more likely to slip on icy surfaces…

Needed a Light Weight Handy Cane I needed a light weight handy cane for around the house because of some balance issues and this cane seems just right and has worked very well for me. This unique walking cane can also be used as a hiking stick by extending the length and reversing the grip but I have not used it for hiking so I can’t review that feature.. The handle is very ergonomic with well placed grippy rubber and fits my hand very well. I liked it so much I bought another one.

This is the cane to own!!! Lightweight, adjustable, sturdy, and very comfortable. As a 225lb man with a new prosthetic leg I was looking for strength, durability and something lightweight. I was concerned because of my experience that adjustable canes make a metal click noise every time they hit the ground, I really didn’t want that. So I looked long and hard for a solid cane.
