Available in convenient easy-to-open plastic containers (2, 3, 4 and 6 ounce) for individual patients to use at home and a choice of larger containers (1, 5 and 50 pound) for the hospital or clinic. CanDo TheraPutty material is gluten, latex and casein free.
Unless you are Andre The Giant, you don’t need 6 oz. for personal use. I like this product. I think it’s a high quality item and appears to do what it’s designed to do. I looked at other reviews and decided the standard 2 oz. size that comes in the variety packs might not be a large enough lump to effectively use. I don’t have basketball player hands. They’re about average size. That said, unless you are Andre The Giant, or that guy from GoT, you don’t need more than about 3 or 4 oz – AT MOST. I pulled off a ball that should be about 2 oz and it’s plenty enough…
Keep in mind, Theraputty is just that…Therapy putty… Theraputty is not a toy for unsupervised play. It is a therapeutic exercise material, best used by adults or children with adult supervision..I have read several reviews from folks complaining that they aren’t getting a big enough glob of putty in these tubs….Or that this stuff ruins fabric..It is hard to play with because it’s so soft and won’t hold it’s shape….WELL…I’m not exactly sure what people are expecting when they order a 2 oz. package of physical therapy putty. A must have after hand surgery I had hand/thumb surgery and I was initially attracted to these because you received 6 different resistances and it would have cost me substantially more to purchase them through my physical/occupational therapist.
