School Project Made Easy! My son had to dress as Ulysses Grant. He wanted something he didn’t have to wear all day and was easy to slip on when it was time for his speech. This absolutely was the answer. I honestly wasn’t expecting much since its a costume, I was surprised. The hat is sturdy, the boot covers are decent vinyl. The Jacket surprised me the most. I thought the buttons would be plastic and if they are they fooled this mom. I did order one size up since reviews said it ran small. My son is 5th grade 10 yrs…
Exactly what I expected. Exactly what I expected. Ordered a little large to be sure it fit. Used for a school project and got the comment “Great Costume.” Please note that this is an unlined jacket made simply, and not an article of clothing to be worn repeatedly. Probably good for up to 10 uses with care. I purchased a sabre to go with it as costume does not include one, this is an essential piece for the costume. You also need to have a white dress shirt.
Love the costume….word of warning it took more than two shipments to get all the pieces. This costume is seriously awesome! Word of warning, we never received the entire costume in full. That being said, though, we got pieces of it enough to put it all together. My son, shown, is only wearing the pieces that arrived in one of the shipments. The full ensemble is really quite a bit nicer, if you can actually receive it all in one shipment ;).The beard on the model in the photo looks a lot different from the beard in the package to me.
