Great costume! This worked PERFECT as a pirate costume for my daughter in a play!! She is a size 14/XL girls size with a tall/thin build. The knickers and coat fit perfect. The hat fits really anyone as it’s a stretchy material. The shoe “buckles” are cute and are just material with elastic on them and can fit even over an adult boot (boots made it more pirate-y). The buttons on the blue coat are just screen print but look realistic on stage and does not detract from the overall look (“real”…
Works great for any character from late 1700s – My son was actually Captain Cook and wore this for a school presentation. It was perfect! The pants run a bit big compared to the jacket but we rolled the waist and it was ok. Would be best if the pants fit snug around the upper calf but was loose on him (pants overall too big). But still good enough. He is nearly 10 and average size for his age and wore a Med. We added a wig and it was great!Needed to steam the entire thing but then it was good to go!
