Excellent design – but does not fit all cabinets I had reservations about purchasing. I was worried about them fitting our cabinets due to thickness of some of the doors. The packaging says that these work on doors/drawers up to 1.5″ thick… any thicker and the magnet will not be strong enough to open the lock. Unfortunately, these did NOT fit some of our cabinets because the door panel frame (as opposed to the inset area) was too narrow. Just bought even more I bought these when they were on sale, and just recently paid full price to order more. It is difficult to spend $23 on 8 latches, but these work excellent! My 10 month old has started opening every cabinet and he will pull on them pretty roughly and they still hold up. They are extremely easy to apply, and the fact that they are so strong without using screws is excellent. I am usually someone who goes for a cheaper item, but with these you get what you pay for. Strong, Quality Latches My husband purchased these recently to help keep our very curious 15 month old from continuously unloading every cabinet/drawer in the house.
