The Boulevard Convertible Car Seat is an exceptional choice for getting your family where you need to go. SafeCell Impact Protection surrounds your child in safety components that protect beyond the established federal safety standards. Side Impact Protection provides an advanced layer of protection with a deep protective shell and an energy-absorbing foam headrest. The quick-adjust, 10-position harness grows with your child, while the Click & Safe Snug Harness Indicator takes the guesswork out of adjusting the harness. Easy-on/off lower anchors lock into place with a click and are released with the push of a button. The Boulevard converts from a rear-facing position (for babies 5-40 lbs.) to a forward-facing position (for children 20-65 lbs.) and is designed to keep your little one safe. Babies ‘R’ Us Exclusive Ultimate Comfort Series includes Memory Foam in the seat and head restraint and a cup holder for drinks and snacks
The Britax Boulevard Saved our 2-Year Old Daughterâs Life The Britax Boulevard seat saved our 2-year old daughterâs life following a violent head-on impact with drunk driver overseas. My daughter, who was in the seat, did not receive a scratch.
Test car seat with child before purchasing I hate to give Britax a bad review as I have been happy with their B-Agile infant seat and stroller. However, the lap straps and harness buckle did not work with my child, and I’m not sure how it works with any child. The strap and buckle cut into my child’s thighs, the buckle seems too short. My child is 9 mo., 18lbs, 28in (50th percentile for weight, 80th for height). The straps cut across the thighs and squeeze into them, even before fully tightened. After just a few minutes in the seat…
Short crotch strap The seat itself seems like good quality but I returned it because I wasn’t happy with a few features. I was hoping it would work for my 6 month old but the crotch strap is so short that the buckle cuts into her legs. Also, it barely reclines at all, even rear facing, so her head was hanging forward and she hated it. I’ve taken carseat installation classes and read the entire manual so I know I was using it properly.
