Been wearing them for several months now Not much comfort. I only wear them at night for carpal tunnel. I have bruises from the metal shank. I have small hands and the thumb hole is small for me. Glad I don’t wear them during the day. I tried loosening them up but then just got numb hands again. Argh. Need some more padding for sure and the ends of the metal please.
Good, seams not ideal Good, though the seams feel rough at first. They did not end up bothering me, so I wear the brace as needed, but my main worry trying this on was that the seams struck me as something that might cause chafing. They have not, so far, and they seem to get softer as I use it. The thumb hole felt a bit off as well, like it rode too high, but again, I put it on and used it without discomfort.
Works on the problem, but length not right for me. The brace did help with the pain, however it caused other pain. The piece that goes around the thumb pressed down on that space and caused my thumb to have serious pain. I tried to limit the amount of time I wore it. Putting it on and off helped, but I ended up cutting that piece which ended the additional pain, but also loosens the whole top part. I wish it had perhaps elastic across that space to allow for different hand sized. I happen to have long hands so that may be the problem. I…
