The vest is adorable, with good strong stitches The vest is adorable, with good strong stitches, and the gear is surprisingly sturdy and not made out of cheap plastic. My kids spent a whole afternoon exploring in the backyard, and the next morning they were still excited to play explorer. And as a major PLUS – the whistle is NOT ridiculously loud and shrill. It still sounds great, but a little muted, so I didn’t even mind my kids using it indoors.
Niece loved the outfit I gave this as a birthday present to my 4 year-old niece and she loved it. Her twin brother loved it, too, and immediately started helping her load up the pockets. I was not expecting this to be as much of a hit, particularly since she already has princess dresses and her brother got an astronaut outfit. Fortunately, it was!
