Great for college kids, and those who aren’t trying to build a place from scratch. I’ve had this drill for two years, and it is time I write a review for it.As others have pointed out, the storage container for the drill is pretty bad. It’s oversized, and so are the pockets for the bits, so I’ve had to leave the plastic and cardboard in the storage just so the parts don’t fly everywhere. Good price, but not much else going for it They make it hard to see in the photos, an old advertising trick here. I was hoping for a drill with a light on it, but this one doesn’t have one. Also, when using extensions it seems to have a serious problem with keeping the extension bits locked into place for some reason. I have used many drills in my life, but there’s nothing special about this one other than the price. The kit is maybe 5 bucks worth of bits, so don’t get excited by seeing all the stuff you see in the photos. I used to…
Learn from my mistake! This drill is the worst! It doesn’t have enough power to drill a screw into wood without predrilling a hole. Even then it’s more likely to strip the screw than push it in. When drilling a hole the chuck let go of the bit when I went to pull out rather than actually pull the drill bit out. Not worth it. Get a better one and pay more. Learn from my mistake!
