Very good drill, Lousy charger. I purchased two of these for a DIY construction project (building a small cabin). A friend had a similar B&D that I have used previously and based on that experience, figured this was a great deal. After heavy use of both drills over the past few months, I’m fairly satisfied with the purchase.Drill: 4 3/4 stars – solid, reliable, and sturdy. A great medium duty cordless drill I waited a while to review this drill, since I wanted to run it through some hoops before rating it. My 30 year old Panasonic that I loved finally died and I went looking for a replacement. Although not as compact, this B&D is perfect for my needs, both for small detailed work and heavier projects such as drilling holes in masonry. The battery holds up for much longer than I expected and provides power for most projects around the house and car.I would have preferred a keyed chuck, but…

This drill does not have a high amount of power but it is good for small tasks like wall mounting and screwing Works well, has a fairly long charge time if just used occasionally. Currently this is the drill I have tossed in the trunk of my car so I always have a cordless drill on me. I would not recommend this as a primary drill for someone who actually drills a lot or is a craftsman, buy an expensive Makita, it’s worth it.
