They have worked great for the kids I bought these both for my own use in a woodshop, and for my younger kids to have a mechanical pencil with a thicker lead that doesn’t break as readily as a standard .7mm. They have worked great for the kids, becoming their go-to pencil of choice, and also do very well on open-grained hardwoods such as oak.
love these! There’s nothing better than doing math with a mechanical pencil. Standards pencils wear down and some of the numbers will be thicken than other depending on the angle you write with. A mechanical pencil assures that all numbers are even in thickness. My teenage son loves these pencils for his math. And this is a great set. I love the colors, they are bright and fun.These pencils last quite a while. Generic store brand mechanical pencils don’t even come close to how awesome these mechanical…
Great for Quilt Patterns and for Ceramics I am always loosing pencils and need a fine point for adding quilt patterns to my material. I also use this for my classes I take and give in Ceramics as the lead burns out of the green-ware and bisque. I always have one on hand.
