My daughter loves it but the quality is questionable My 4-year-old absolutely loves this set! However, I have a few complaints about the product. The teal shoes are impossible for her to put on or remove and even I struggle with them. The tail hinges seem a bit flimsy and I’m not sure how long it’ll last. The tops clip on and off and those are easy for my daughter to use. The two skirts, the purple shoes, and the wings are nice.
Big However I purchased this as a gift for a friend’s 6 year-old girl. When she opened it she was thrilled. The doll is very pretty and so are the attachable parts. All the items have wonderful detail on them. The little girl was able to replicate all of the “looks” by referring to the cardboard backing of the packaging, HOWEVER, getting the mermaid bottom and fin off was extremely difficult as well as the green shoes. It was impossible for her to do this on her own and we adults had extreme…
Good product, poor packaging This was a cute little set but the packaging was horrible. The box was all dented in and the cardboard was separating from the plastic front. It was overall fine since it was a gift for my daughter and she wouldn’t notice details like that, but it definitely appeared squished and tampered with.With that said, the barbie had a bunch of cute accessories, and my daughter can now create a little village of fairy mermaid barbies by sharing the accessories with barbies friends.
