The Oakmont cedar wood swing set has some really neat features that make it great for smaller yards but keep the kids playing all day long. First, the raised fort has a colorful awning and front wall with white trimmed window to make a cool clubhouse-like area up top. Down below there is another fort, with front wall, window, and real door! And the side snack window has built-in bench just outside. Out on the swing beam there are two belt swings and an acrobat bar for plenty of swinging and clowning around. A standard step ladder gets the kids to the upper fort and our 8′ speedy slide zips them back down again. Upper deck dimensions: 40″ x 40″
Only some pieces are high qualityâlots of uneven pre-drilling. Not junk, but not great either. I purchased this play/swing set in February of this year. Itâs been put together for some time now but I wanted to wait until my children got use out of it before reviewingâif I had reviewed it before, it would have only been a one star rating based on the material and terrible pre-drilling alone. I wanted to give the company a chance. After putting it together and having it for a while, it honestly didnât improve the rating very much. Here are the pros and cons for brevity sake:…
Five Stars Nice product.. Takes all day to build tho and is a serious mind puzzle. Be prepared..
So happy with this purchase. Very happy with the swing set. Directions are clear, wood parts are well marked, and all hardware is easy to navigate. Swing set looks great and is sturdy. Build this by myself in about 10 hours over 2 days. I would recommend a helper but still can be done solo. Couldn’t be happier.
