Quality Decreased When Packaging Changed – Long Time Buyers/Subscribers Beware Our household has purchased nothing by Angel Soft for over a decade. It always offered the right balance of softness, strength, and value for us. We’ve been subscribed to this particular product on Amazon since 2013. Until earlier this year, the listing was always for a quantity of 48 rolls, shipped as 12 packs of 4 rolls each. The paper was always the same quality, just as we’d come to trust.
Careful about “buy again”! This TP works fine and is a good value but I’m only giving it one star because there seems to be a bit a bait-switch methodology here. I bought the original pack for about $20. But the same item shows up on the “buy again” option at $43. This happened before with another large pack of toilet paper. I think the seller is trying to get folks to simply click “buy again” and accidentally purchase the same pack for over twice the price! Pays to pay attention I guess.
Should be called ‘Devil Soft’ As a daily user of toilet paper I prefer a thick, cottony, luxurious wipe. My other interests include saving money, which led to this purchase on my Amazon subscriptions. I don’t often say this because I’m crafty and can usually figure out ways to not make it true, but “you get what you pay for”. I will be paying $2 more for a better TP and hope to never use this again unless it’s for toilet papering someone’s house.
