The Alpha Medical Three Panel Knee Immobilizer has a unique design that maximizes comfort and effectiveness. There is a large back panel made from 1/4″ thick foam that has three ridged preformed stays that run down the back of the leg. The stays are bent to resemble the anatomical shape of the back of the leg and knee. There are two side panels (one on each side) that attach with Velcro to the back panel. These side panels can be moved to make the immobilizer larger or smaller while keeping the side stays correctly positioned on the medial and lateral sides of the knee. There are four Velcro straps, which feed through plastic loops for even adjustable compression. The open patella design removes direct pressure from the patella for improved comfort while also helping to stabilize the patella. Knee Immobilizers are used to treat knee injuries, with a focus on the ligaments of the knee or other severe injuries to the soft tissue of the leg.

You’d have to have a stick-thin leg to get good coverage here Applied to a leg which wasn’t fat–but the edges of the brace weren’t even close to covering the front of the leg. Velcro straps rubbed. I expect a knee immobilizer to totally encase the leg, even if the knee doesn’t totally straighten all the way. You’d have to have a stick-thin leg to get good coverage here. Not all that comfortable, had to put a washcloth in between straps and skin to prevent breakdown.
I love this product I love this product! It’s the forth one I purchased. The others were either too long or didn’t offer enough support.I went with the others because this one took the longest to come in, but it was worth the wait.
which helps her to feel better. It seems to work fairly well Daughter who has Patella Femoral Syndrome wears this at night to help keep her knee/leg straight, which helps her to feel better. It seems to work fairly well.
