Introducing KardiaBand, the new wearable EKG by AliveCor. KardiaBand replaces your original Apple Watch band. The first of its kind, FDA-cleared KardiaBand provides accurate and instant analysis for detecting atrial fibrillation (AF) and normal sinus rhythm in an EKG. Simply place your thumb on the integrated KardiaBand sensor to take a medical-grade EKG in just 30 seconds. Results appear instantly on your Apple Watch. KardiaBand is available today for just $199. KardiaBand features are designed exclusively for use with Kardia Premium membership – $99 year. The Kardia Premium app for Apple Watch includes AliveCor’s revolutionary SmartRhythm monitoring feature. SmartRhythm monitoring uses an intelligent neural network that runs directly on the Apple Watch, constantly acquiring data from the watch’s heart rate sensor and its accelerometer. SmartRhythm compares your heart rate to what it expects from your minute-by-minute level of activity. When the network sees a pattern of heart rate and activity that it does not expect, it notifies you to take an EKG. With KardiaBand, peace of mind is just an EKG away.
It works perfectly every time works perfect once set up. The bad reviews needed to call support, They responded the next day and walked me through. I use it regularly with no issues. After my heart attack I am hypersensitive to any discomfort in my chest. Being able to run an EKG with a report “normal” lets me sleep at night. You can create reports for your doc that are very detailed and print out your EKG. For those of you who said too much money do you have any idea how much regular monitoring would cost…

First week was getting readings of 36 whichscared me&my M.D.Also have Kardia’s mobile EKG unit& using both was able to ascertain when this unit read 36 pulse was actually 51(on Kardia’smobile unit). This happened virtually every day with KardiaBand – so folks that…
Does what it says, but messes up activity tracking on the watch–not worth it to me! This band almost works well. I was able to hook it up and get a few readings, but then I found out that it puts the watch in workout mode continuously, which made the watch think I’d done 400% of my goal for the first day! I spoke with customer support and they verified that it’s always in workout mode so they can tap the heart rate sensor every 5 seconds. So the good news is that it was able to give me a reading pretty easily and it seems to do what they say it will. The bad news is that…
