perfect for me!!! After suffering a stroke I had limited use of my hands and couldn’t hold a fork or a spoon properly. Eating was very difficult until I found this eating utensil clip aid. It holds the fork or spoon securely and has really proved to be a blessing for me. It is sturdy and cleans easily. For anyone with similar problems I highly recommend this item. I have tried similar items but none have worked as efficiently as this one. And if anyone has spent time looking in medical catalogs for items like…
This works great! Was surprised that my 88yr old mother would like this. She has hand tremors & it’s hard for her to eat. She loves it & it’s so easy to use. The rounded part of handle that lays across top of hand was a bit tight. Just bent it a little (gently w/use of hot setting of hair dryer worked great) & it’s perfect. Have tried all kinds of different things to make her life easier & this one little thing is something that finally worked!
JUST OK, OVERPRICED Purchased this for my mother who can barely hold anything with her hands due to arthritis. The spoon or fork has a tendency to slip from side to side when attempting to retrieve foodoff of a bowl or plate and the clip can be painful. She uses it with some success and, in hercase, it works better than oversized handles. A little pricy for what you get, I give it a 5 out of 10.
