Forget âElongatedâ version (1 star) but just use âRegularâ version (4 stars) Ordered a regular AND an elongated right seat. While regular can be fitted to an elongated bowl OK, about an inch open gap appears at the front. However, when the âelongatedâ model arrived it was IDENTICAL except for the product number. Hence it too did not fit the elongated toilet. So Amazon let me exchange it and sent a replacement. Guess you know what happened – it is also identical to a regular. I give the âregularâ 4 stars because it mounted fine as long as the original seat was removed…
I couldn’t imagine trying to use the toilet post-Op without this seat. Reason for purchase: Total hip replacement, Right, Posterior approach (Traditional method)Patient: Male, late 40s, 6′ 4″, 360 lbs., Avascular necrosis – Right hipIt’s now been a week since the procedure and I’m feeling better every day.I can’t imagine trying to use the toilet without this seat. The extra height has been crucial and the right ramp puts less pressure on the incision.
So helpful Debated if I really needed this after my hamstring reattachment surgery, so glad I decided to buy it. I would recommend this to anyone that is going to have this type of surgery.
