*Highly Recommend* After having surgery, this elevated toilet seat has been a gift from heaven! My husband had no problems whatsoever installing it along with our original toilet seat. It fits and blends in with our white toilet perfectly and is almost unnoticable. It is especially nice that there are no metal bars that would make it look more like a piece of ‘medical supply equipment’. It is very sturdy and secure. The handles/arms are ergonomically positioned for safety. And, it is easy to keep clean.
Bumpy Installation for me, final result so far so good. Installation required 4 Home Depot trips and this is finally successfully installed. I didn’t want the industrial looking riser with metal arms that takes up floor space so I opted for this model. The new “easy clean” seats didn’t work because they can slide from side to side. I finally found a Bemis toilet seat that worked (see photo) and bought 6″ screws that would fit the toilet seat hardware. Easy to install I bought this seat riser for my mother as she was losing strength in her legs making getting up from a seated position difficult. She can safely get up & down without my worrying about her. The built in handles are an added bonus. A safety feature if you happen to lose your balance.Easy to install. 2 bolts.
