Works Very Well. Would buy again. The best thing I can say about this is that it works. It did not fit my recliner as the entire front of my recliner lifts up to make a footrest. This is made for recliners where only the middle section lifts up leaving the arm sections still flat. I was able to make it fit mine by placing it between the footrest and the arm sections and shortening the side pieces a bit. I have struggled so much trying to get out of my favorite chair. great usage, harder to assemble, wobbly and expensive I bought this for my dad who is 80+ years old and could not get up easily without assistance. Now he can get up on the first shot! His confidence is increased and we are so glad to see him getting up on his own for the first time in a long time. The unit was a bit difficult to put together. There are like 8 screws with matching nuts to screw on after the assembly of the individual parts. Also the unit is a bit wobbly but placed all the way against the couch or recliner it feel more stable…
worth the price I saw this at a pharmacy but it did not have a price on it I went home and looked it up on Amazon and thought it might be good for my girl friend’s father. He is 86 and sleeps in a recliner and it is hard for him to get out of the chair. I did not want to get the auto lift because we wanted him to do as much as he could. This worked out great for all of us.
