Great product Makes a huge difference in mobility restricted person’s live. You do have to be careful about pressing it too hard against the ceiling, I started a couple of nail-pops before I realized I had it too tight.
great product, challenging to install To help my 90 year old dad get up from his desk chair, this is great, especially as his condo has concrete ceilings and floors. Installation is a bear, if you don’t have a helper: the product is basically stacked 2-foot pipe sections that are friction fit together and wobble like crazy until the adjusting nut is cranked up tight. Very hard to hold the pole from swaying while using the supplied wrench to crank away. I think they should have gone with longer sections, although that would have…
