Beautiful, great quality Used this costume for my 7 year old to wear for her mermaid birthday party. She loved it and so did I. Good quality, colors were just as pictured. The only thing she didn’t love was that it itched her around the tummy area. We put on a tank top, but it was hot out so I wish we didn’t need to add the extra layer. I would suggest having your little one try it on and glue on some felt anywhere it itches.

My daughter loves this! I purchased the 7-8 size for my barely 6 year old daughter. It fits her well in the body, although it is a tad long. If your child isn’t super skinny, I would recommend going up 1 size – the costume is a little stretchy, but not overly accommodating. It lacks a zipper/snaps/buttons, so it’s somewhat challenging to get on and off over clothing. Overall it’s well-made and I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Flimsy, not built to last more than 2-3 uses My husband and I take part in an annual “angel tree” toy drive for local kids in need. One of the children we chose this year, a five-year-old little girl, asked for a little mermaid costume for Christmas. We got her this one and another one that was Disney licensed (a princess version rather than fish version. It’s hard to find the fish version, apparently).
