Very small easily breakable toy I bought this toy from Cigchic it was NOT Amazon Prime but being three weeks (December 5) before Christmas I figured no big deal. After I was charged for it delivery was estimated from December 14 – 21. I got the item December 21, about 4pm. Check The Packaging To Ensure All Pieces Are Accounted For Difficult to really like this as a gear piece was missing from the contents. Bought this months ago for my son’s birthday and found that a piece was missing. Now it sits on the shelf until I can figure out how to get a replacement piece or have a friend craft a new one on a 3D printer (if it’s even possible). My son was excited to get it since he is really into robotics right now. But I should have gone ahead and opened the packing when I got it to make sure all the pieces were there.
You get what you pay for… For $12.00 with shipping, it’s ok… The electrical spring connectors are very hard to work with. You have to take apart the battery / motor to connect them. (I was never able to get the cable to slide into the spring without doing this.) The solar cell requires bright sun, or at least a 100 watt light bulb to run the motor. At first I thought the unit did not work, until I tested the solar cell with a multimeter and I tested the motor with a battery. The motor is very small, and I…
