I have found that the best way is to use the proper container I recently decided to try making homemade ice cream and sorbet. The issue with making frozen treats is that once you spin them in the ice cream maker they freeze solid when you store them. There are all kinds of tricks online about how to reduce this but, I have found that the best way is to use the proper container. Dessert just got better! We had been using the vented dessert supplies but still would have to put saran wrap over the cups to keep the ice cream from getting freezer burn. Now we do not have to worry. These containers freeze well and are easy to unthaw. They stay sturdy so that I can place the container back in the freezer. I also use these to freeze soups, stews and other foods. And an uncommon use, we place old cooking oil in the containers prior to disposing. It is less mess and do not have to worry about it…
