Have a look at any light bulb sizing chart you will see lightbulbs are measured in 1/8’s of an inch in diameter NOT millimeters!! A corectly sized G40 is 5 inches in diameter very large. This G40 millimeter thing is 1 and 1/2 inches across.This incorrectly called G40 Is in fact a G12 as it measures 12 1/8’s of an inch in diameter. Great idea ð¡ I moved into a new place with outdoor lights and was so excited! Well when I plugged them in 15 lights were burnt out or broke. I ordered these to see if I could just replace the bulbs. They were easy to screw into the sockets and they were the same color and brightness as the other lights. Iâm so happy with how it turned out.Also, the lightbulbs were shipped really nicely. They didnât break in transit, and I still use the box to store them.
