Product as advertised. Looks great. Bulbs do not get too hot. Bulbs delicate: take care when installing. Would buy again. I just installed these tonight. Purchased two sets to illuminate a pool area. A few comments:-The bulbs are incandescent and look great-Broadly speaking, product as advertised-They provide a good amount of light-It is 60F out today, but I can hold a bulb in my hand and they do not feel hot. I do not believe that there is a substantial risk of these bulbs setting anything on fire.-The cord comes without bulbs installed. I think this was a good decision on…
Accent lighting, not ‘real’ lighting, too dim… These are way too dim to be used outdoors. I bought these to replace a string of small incandescent bulbs thinking they would be the same brightness, but easier on the eyes than bare bulbs. Nope. These are purely for indoor accent lighting, or in an area that is already well lit (as in, you’re not relying on these to provide any actual illumination).
Three Stars They are nice but several bulbs were not working upon opening the package and no replacements are included. Disappointed.Update: The company sent me replacement bulbs for free. I am very happy now.
