Defective Product The product is as advertised. It fit the unit and charged. I have not pushed the battery to determine duration of useability. I am giving a 4 star rating until enough time has elapsed and I can determine the battery longevity. I am looking for 3+ years I received on the original battery. Since initial review the product has failed. Operates vacuum 5 seconds then quits. Without returning to charge station after 10 minutes the vacuum will again operate for 5 seconds. Garbage! This is trash. Do not even think about it. Annoyingy hesitates for 1-2 seconds. Something wrong with the battery management circuit. After 3 times of battery cycles, it operates for 20 seconds, and it stops for a few seconds. Upon restarting it works for a few seconds intermittently. Do not buy. Shame for Amazon to sell this kind.

Works like a charm, perfect replacement My Dyson V6 stopped working and I tried all of the suggestions online I could find, to no avail. I called Dyson and after troubleshooting, they determined I needed a new battery. They offered me one of theirs for $95, so I politely declined and found this here on Amazon for a fraction of the cost with more amp hours, which means more run time. I followed the instructions to replace the battery, charged it up and off I went. This has responded perfectly and I use it almost daily. Great run time…
