Sturdy buckets with secure lids. Great for our purpose. Husband fishes and uses these buckets to freeze ice for his fish coolers. He used to use ice cream buckets, but we we went on a diet and stopped buying ice cream (sad face). Soon all his ice cream buckets had busted from being frozen with ice too many times. We found these buckets, which are for sure better for our diet, and he loves them. Says they are sturdier than ice cream buckets and he thinks they will hold up longer. Great for food and for rearing caterpillars ! Perfect containers for food but I used all of them as houses for monarch caterpillars until they became butterflies which I set free. Make sure you cut a hole in top and use glue gun to attach netting over hole for air circulation.
