It’s an ok replacement but the battery doesn’t last long It is compatible with the Dyson v6 cordless stick vac. My v6 was useless and I didn’t want to spend $100 on an original replacement battery so I took a chance on this one. I give it 3 stars because it works well but it doesn’t last as long as the original. Out of the box it would run for 17 minutes on Max mode with a full charge but now only a couple of weeks after getting it the max mode will only give me 7 minutes. I don’t know if I got a defective battery or if it is just that the…

It works! My refurbished Dyson pet V6 kicked the bucket after a year, just out of warranty, go figure. I searched for the issue online (not charging and a red blinking light). I found it needed a new battery and found this one for a good price. It arrived quickly and I installed it myself. It’s only two screws with a Phillips screwdriver. It works perfectly! Sometimes avoiding the hassle of customer service is worth it.I will update if the battery does not last.

Fixed the issue This product is great. It fixed the issue with my intermittent battery recharging issue. lets face it. After like 4 years those batteries need to be replaced. Only had it for a month so not sure how long it will hold up but for now my machine working like new. Be aware there are 2 screws holding the canister in that needs to be unscrewed in order to get to the battery. You can barely see one of them.
