Broke while installing Instructions say to make sure the rail is completely tight for safety. As I tightened the rail to the bath tub, the weld on the rear bracket broke, rendering the bracket useless. Bought this for my daughter to use after her surgery – now she has to wait while I order and wait for a different one to arrive.

Easy to Install I suffer from Lymphoma and it’s normally quite difficult for me to get up and out of the tub! I’m also not particularly apt at difficult installations involving drills or other special equipment. All of this made this Bathtub Safety Rail ideal and it lived up to its advertisement. I had it up and tightly attached within ten minutes and now I have my soothing baths back and am more than happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!

Customer Video Review Length:: 0:12 Mins It takes very little pressure laterally to pull the thing right off the tub. If you grab it to help lift yourself from the tub, you have a very good chance of falling and getting injured. See video
