Works for getting my mother from a prone position to a sitting position My mother has trouble sitting up. Once she’s in a sitting position she’s fine, it’s getting there that’s the problem due to a bad back. This works perfectly. Probably not for heavy duty use. Straps are convenient (one set of short and one set of longer. Easy to take wherever it might be needed. I take it with when she’d getting her hair done. Helps with those semi-reclining chairs used for washing hair – the chairs backs do not move. Stylist puts the belt behind my mother before she lies back…

It helps your back I work as a private caregiver and my clients knee always slips because its bone on bone and her wrist here from pushing trying to get up put of bed, this product allows me to help get her standing without hurting her or Myself, this is the perfect product for safe transfers.

Probably works better for small people This sling belt is nicely made and sturdy but rather small. It only wraps around the back of the person and does not really prevent the person from sliding off the surface where they are sitting. Would be good if it had velcro to wrap around the front to make it a bit safer.
