Broke within 15 minutes. Both of them. We ordered these vibrating oral massagers for my little Fragile X guy. He loves his electric toothbrush, so we thought he would absolutely love these…and he did…for the 15 minutes they worked! I was excited to see them in the mailbox at 12 noon. By 12:15 they had both broken. He was happily chewing away when the alligator slipped from his hand (he’s two, so not very big). It landed on the linoleum and just quit working. I would love them. The concept is great If they worked well, I would love them. The concept is great, and when they work its great. The alligator one would get jammed or something wouldn’t line up right about half of the time. The Elephant one worked consistently. A child with special needs often is trying to learn not to have a meltdown though by using something like this so it must work consistently. In all fairness they did offer to replace it no questions asked, but I don’t have time to jump through the hoops to return it.
Cute characters, some possible quality issues We got these for feeding therapy for our son. He likes to chew on them and they may be helping with eating, but nothing concrete to validate that.As far as functionality goes, they work as expected.The characters are removable and easy to clean and the units turn on and off easily.The speed control is not easily changeable while it’s on which may be a feature, it’s not an issue either way.We’ve had a few issues with the alligator stopping and I’ve had to bang it around a…
