Disk brake vital to downhill safety The MacWheel kick scooter does not roll as well as the Hikole or Xootr (tried and returned the Hikole, keeping the Xootr for myself). However, the MacWheelâs rear disk brake is vital for downhill use (the Hikole lacks this feature). My teen son rides the MacWheel to the city bus stop and from the bus stop to martial arts class, once or twice per week, averaging four miles each trip. He picked the MacWheel because he had trouble stopping with the Hikole when he came upon a deep sidewalk crack…

Best ADULT kick scooter!!! I love this kick scooter!!! The bearings make it roll forever! Its lightweight, colapsible, sturdy and super comfortable to ride with the shocks! Plug in handgrips are a poor detail Great looking, Seems sturdy. A bit akward to get the stwering column to fold, but the trick mentioned in the instructions manual to push forward while releasing the clip will become 2nd nature. Unnecessary to have the hand grips removable, probably not for ease of folding but for ease of boxing. Makes them too shaky as is and need to be shimmed, hopefully a few weaps of gorilla tape will do it.
