Not suitable for backyard composting It doesn’t say until the very bottom of this page “BAG ONLY COMPOSTABLE IN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES. NOT SUITABLE FOR BACKYARD COMPOSTING.” That should be one of the first things stated. Sending back because I do not have a local, industrial composter.
Like, really fast Well, it certainly decomposes. Like, really fast. My first use went bust when I lived life too close to the edge, putting too much wet food in the bag and forgetting about the whole setup for a month like the common monster I am. Happy with purchase. Someone gave me a kitchen composter and it required these bags. I am surprised at how sturdy they are as my friend complained that hers broke but i do empty once a week. We have a lot of coffee grounds, vegie peels, etc and have not had this issue with the wet items. I generally empty the bag into one of four tumbler composters and then throw the garbage in the main trash can because of the comments re: not for home composting. I know they will decompose quickly in the land fill. I hate having…
