A bit childish for our 4 year old This is a very sturdy, cute trike. Our four year old is 43 inches tall and 46 lbs. She fits on this alright and it is fine but I mention this because I see now that for her size she would have been better off on a small training bike. She looks too old for this when she rides it and she says she feels silly. I can see that too though I take full responsibility for this. Great trike! I bought this for our 3 1/2 year old daughter and she loves it. Most trikes sit low which can be hard to peddle. I noticed how much she loves the tall trikes at her preschool and this was the closest I could find for use at home. Very easy to ride and she loves the color. Gets lots of interest from the other kids at the park so we are learning to share.
