Great product, doesn’t work very well for us. Very nice looking, but doesn’t work properly unless the spindles of the banister are open to the bottom stair/floor. The bottom strap is loose and you can lift the bottom up enough to squeeze through. Still works for now, and looks better than other options, but I will have to find a fix once baby realizes he can just lift it! I love the way it looks, but probably would not have purchased if I knew it wouldn’t have worked with the design of our stairs.

Not an answer for everything These gates are just ok when it comes to suiting the needs of my family’s lifestyle. They are made with a few layers of heavy cotton, like something that would be used to make nice decorators pillows, with some kind of boning to keep the panal more stiff like. I’m not super impressed with my gates unfortunately for a few reasons.- It got old very quickly snapping and unsnapping to go up and down the stairs. I feel trapped downstairs a lot just because of how cumbersome it is to undo/redo…

NOT RETRACTABLE Retractable? No. I should have taken a better look at the pictures. What is worth $150 if it is not retractable?? Definitely misleading in the description. I can only see this being useful for a stairway that you never plan on using because you would have to clip and un-clip three different straps. Returning
