Super cute They are a gift so I havenât opened them to see how they are but they are smaller then what I expected. I should have read the discription but they are super cute.
Heavy chemical smell I put ours in a sealed glass jar. It was very fun to watch it for days while it hatched. But in the end when I opened the jar me and my kid were greeted with a heavy chemical smell like permanent marker. The Dino was also slimy and chemical-residue like to the touch. We threw it out and washed hands twice.
Misleading photos The photos showed a toy dinosaur hatching from the egg. What really happened was the egg shells broke off because the egg shaped dinosaur slowly expanded when submerged in water. The toy dinosaur still holds the egg shape and once out of the water, it shrinks back to the original size..
