74 year old 6’5″ tall 228 lbs LOVES IT!!! Absolutely perfect for our needs. My father in law is 6’5 and weighs 228. It’s great and he said it’s comfortable. I was able to take him to the mall and shop for the first time in years. He is able to walk, but uses a cane and can’t stand long. He is 74 and said it’s just beautiful! Light weight makes a real difference! Folds compactly to fit even in small trunks! We purchased this for my 89 year old father who is losing strength in his legs and can’t walk for long distances. He’s in the early to middle stages of dementia and it’s important for him to be included in regular activities like grocery shopping, trips to the movies, museums with the great grandchildren etc. because the varied input of places outside the home stimulate his mind and time with familiar folk helps him stay in a positive frame of mind. Not great for small people – return very difficult I bought this for my mom to use. She is in her 70s and she weighs 95 pounds. She was unable to lock the brakes by depressing the handles. It took too much strength for her and even for me with some effort. It also doesn’t stand in place well or fold as compact as we expected. It does roll smoothly, assembles easily and has a nice seat. We had a bad experience with the return process. This seller was slow to respond on refunds, forces the purchaser to pay shipping, and charges a restocking fee…
