Almost perfect, but with a pretty irritating fault This could have been the perfect toy for my alphabet-obsessed 1-year-old. However, it only says the letters after playing a long (and super annoying) song. If you spin it again during the song, it resets and plays again, never actually getting to saying the letter!! Would have been 5 stars if not for that. He can still enjoy it with the sound turned off I guess, saying the letters on his own, but still… an almost perfect toy ruined by poor design.
Just another toy in the box Bought this for my 6 month old and upon reciving realized its a little more on the advanced side still for him. The spinning has to be done manually which due to my own lack of research I was in aware of. A lot of the animal âsoundsâ are just noises like splashing or other weird sounds that animals donât actually make. All in all I think this toy is priced appropriately, but I donât think thereâs anything extraordinary about this toy that sets it apart from any other toy we have purchased.
I was delighted to find this new model My special needs guy LOVES this toy. We had the older model and were looking for a replacement. I was delighted to find this new model. The glowing light is a nice modification. The older model seems to have a studied base and this new model is slightly more top heavy and turns over. No worries as my guy loves both versions!
