It was getting a bit heavy to lift into the trunk. After a few years of use the steel chair is in excellent like new condition and is still used around the house and back patio. Bad Paint Job – What a Shame! I am very disappointed with the quality of the paint on the Drive Medical Fly-Weight transport wheelchair. I spent some time researching transport wheelchairs and decided to buy the Fly-Weight because of its lower weight and other features, such as an appropriate overall chair width, adjustable length on the leg rests, and collapsible handles.
