Beautiful, functional and priced right! I have been using this style for many years and they are great. Not all the canes of this style work this well but this one is a winner! The idea is to spread out the pressure over ones whole hand rather than concentrate it to two inches in the middle of your hand like those crummy drugstore shepherds hook style ones do. A Wonderful cane Light weight, beautiful staff and grip, well crafted, with a very comfortable ergonometric grip that relaxes one’s hand and distributes the pressure to the broadest part of the palm of your hand. This is the second such cane I’ve owned (I regretfully lost the previous one) and recommend it highly to any one in need of such support.
For cane needers and lovers The main reason I bought it was because it’s beautiful. I also knew from the other reviews that it was easier on your hand and it is. You might consider getting a loop for it because you sure don’t want to drop it (I made my own).
