This cape sure is “Super”! I bought this cape to go with the Rubie’s “Man of Steel” costume and I am so happy that I did! The cape that comes with the costume is short, attaches via Velcro and has a sewing line going right through the middle of it. This cape here, goes right down to your ankles and covers the back of the costume that would otherwise show the Velcro attachments against the back. It flows nicely with the costume and is a great shade of Red, and not to mention the quality of the cape is outstanding!
It’s got a great Look and feel Overall the cape was as expected. It’s got a great Look and feel. My only disappointment is that it arrived dirty/stained. I was able to wash it and problem was solved.Cape:- Dual layer of polyester fabric- embroidered Superman logo (patch)- Hook-like fastener around neckt- measures: 51″h x 100″w
Women! Buy this one and avoid paying more just because you’re a woman. This was very long for me but I bought the man’s cape because the women’s, from the same seller, that uses less fabric and is printed rather than stitched (so cheaper to make), is more expensive. Perfect example of the “pink tax” — women paying more than men. Sexist! (But, I had to have it for work, and my co-workers who bought the women’s were disappointed when they saw that I got a better cape for less money solely by purchasing the man’s version. So, yes, I’ve seen them both.)
