Tippy with small wheels and hard to use brakes This is a lighter version of another Medline transport wheelchair I have. As is common with lightweight transport chairs, the wheels are quite small and I find this chair tippy. And . . . as is true of most transport chairs, it is not possible for the person being transported to operate the brakes on this chair. Brakes become unreliable. I’ve given this chair six months before writing a review and I’m sorry to say that I think it has a serious design flaw. The brakes wear out and become unreliable. This is actually my second chair — the first one was replaced by Medline after an arduous process of complaining about the brakes. Now this chair has the same problem after only a few months.
