The desk arms also comes in a Flip Up option so rather than walking to and from the transport chair, you can just scoot or transfer in and out.

and this chair rolls like a dream My husband weighs 220, and this chair rolls like a dream. Cons: foot rests don’t lock and continue to fall of when I pick the chair up to put it in the car; and I wish the handles folded down–since they don’t, I have to lay the chair down in the back of our SUV. Hand brakes are terrific for pushing my husband downhill.
LOVE Love LOVE IT! Is it wrong that I love this wheelchair? My mother is mobile but has trouble with longer walks such as trips to the mall or any other shopping experience. My sister has a regular chair for her mother-in-law that we borrow on occasion but it’s BIG and BULKY and very HEAVY! This is perfect because we do not have to contend with the … Looked all over for a transport chair with lift up arms. My husband does not have the use of his legs so we have to slide him into his chair. This is perfect because we do not have to contend with the high wheel on the self propel chairs. This is light weight and easy for me to handle. I would recommend this chair and will most likely purchase a second one to keep on our lower level so he can use the chair lift for another easy transfer. Perfect!
