The Chattanooga Nylatex Therapeutic Treatment Wrap is known throughout the sports medicine and rehabilitation community as an effective way to hold cold packs, steam packs or muscle stimulator electrodes in place. This reusable wrap provides firm compression to ensure good contact even in challenging positions, yet it’s flexible enough to allow for mobility. Made from nylon-coated rubberized latex and features a Velcro tab that attaches anywhere along the wrap. The all-in-one design eliminates the need to use small parts like metal fasteners.
and they don’t bunch up like ace bandages I have to give these things five stars even though they contain latex and burned the heck outta my legs before I came up with a workaround. They do stretch, contrary to what others are saying (just not as loosely as those made out of weaker material), they are the strongest wraps I’ve found, and they don’t bunch up like ace bandages. They’ll also last forever. I use them for compression for dvt since the high-compression socks are so ridiculously hard to get on (and even off) and was initially…
Death grip I bought the 18″ and 48″ both in 6-inch widths. Nice product with a very strong velcro grip — actually too strong. This herculean grip is solely attributed to the band width since the hook and loop runs across the full 6-inches. This is a major drawback with the wide bands. It’s difficult to release this death-grip with two hands and impossible to release one-handed. Another drawback of the full width hook and loops is that the hooks will scratch/grab if not matched precisely with…
Good, but… The width of these wraps is perfect for holding an ice pack on my knee; maybe even better than the 4″ wrap, however, 18″ long was not long enough. I have to use two of these wraps together for it to work for me. Next time I would buy a longer wrap.
