This helmet protected son from critical injury. Parents, this helmet is worth every penny. My son escaped critical, if not fatal injury thanks to this helmet. Long story short, my 10 year old was moving along at about 15 mph on his electric scooter when a younger child ran in front of him. While avoiding the child, he lost control of his scooter, hit a curb, flipped over the handle bars and smashed his head on the trailer hitch of a parked truck. Inaccurate description, old stock, discontinued model. Product description stated it fits head sizes 21.5 to 23 inches. Actual product label stated that it fit head sizes 22 to 23.5 inches. It was too large for my child, even with the thick padding.Additionally, while I should have noticed this while shopping, it does not have a fit adjustment crank on the back of the helmet – only the chin strap can be tightened.Finally, the manufacture date on the helmet I received was July 2014, and the model number is no longer even…
